A model name is the beginning of the comparison

Before comparing prices, write down the exact task you want a robot to perform and the environment in which it will be tested. A research platform, supervised demonstration and a production workflow have different requirements. Do not assume a video demonstration establishes suitability for your task.

Ask the supplier to identify the exact model and edition. Confirm development access, included software, computing hardware and any restrictions that matter to your project. Two quotes using the same family name may describe different configurations.

List everything included and excluded

Compare hands, batteries, chargers, accessories, computing options and training. Ask which items are standard, optional or unavailable for the proposed edition. Keep the written configuration beside the quotation so a later change is visible.

If the project depends on a specific capability, request evidence for that capability on the quoted configuration. General product marketing should not replace an agreed acceptance plan. Record what remains to be demonstrated before proceeding.

Keep currencies explicit

An overseas price reported in CNY or USD is not an Australian-dollar quote. Write the currency next to every amount. If a conversion is supplied, record its date, source, rate and any fees; do not relabel the original number with an AUD symbol.

Ask for an itemised delivered quote showing how freight, insurance and applicable taxes or duties are treated. This guide does not estimate tax or import charges. Confirm responsibilities and final pricing with the supplier and appropriate advisers for the transaction.

Include delivery, support and operating preparation

Request written availability and delivery estimates for the exact configuration. Ask where support is provided, what training is included, how spare parts are obtained and which warranty terms apply. A lower headline price does not answer these operational questions.

The intended operator should plan the test area, supervision, stop procedures and task-specific risk assessment before use. Obtain the relevant manufacturer documentation and suitable professional advice for the environment. A sales article cannot certify a deployment as safe.

Agree on what a useful trial will show

Define the task, conditions and evidence required to continue. Include unsuccessful attempts and interventions in the record. If a trial cannot establish the required capability, that is important purchasing information—not something to hide behind a demonstration video.

KproApps is an independent Australian retailer offering a quote pathway for Unitree robotics. Model availability, configuration, delivery and support must be confirmed for each enquiry. A news article does not imply local stock or a promise to supply other brands.
